Paper 1

Hi all,

I know alot of you very extremely disappointed with yesterdays paper 1. If it is any consolation,
the other project maths schools shared your opinion. Looking at the paper myself, I thought that
section B was particularly difficult and can understand how you would have found it very challeging.
I just wanted to urge you all to try to be optimistic and put paper 1 behind you. You all did far
better in paper 2 in the mocks, so focus on that fact. Do your prep for Monday and try to put
paper 1 out of your mind.

Good luck to all on Monday. I will be around when the exam is over.

Solutions for the 2010 project maths sample paper 2

Hi,

In 2010, only paper 2 was project maths, paper 1 was the conventional paper. The 2010 sample
P2 can be found in the directory below. The solutions can be found in the document called "Report_on_trail_final", in section 6, "Detailed analysis – Higher Level", on page 12.

2011 sample P1. solutions to q 6,7,8

Hi all,

You were asking about the solution for q 7, 8, 9 on the 2011 project maths sample paper 1. These
questions are identical to q 6,7,8 on the conventional 2010 paper 1. The solutions can be found
in the 2010 paper 1 marking scheme.
